My name is SoHail, I am a freelance web and graphic designer.

... before you continue reading you should know that I had like three versions of this note before I publish it, I wanted to write a personal narrative note in human language (Which I absolutely am), but I ended up writing two copies, one casual and the other one with more personal lines. Here we go with the first one.

I found iDolReflection in 2000 while I was in college, Never actually introduced it as an entity or name because I just liked the concept and never had a good usage for it. Since then I got hired by various companies as Art Director, Graphic Designer and Creative Advisor but I always was looking to find my own signature work. 2009 I decided to become a freelance designer to embrace the freedom of pure creation and bypass limitations of my boundary, I resigned from my last job and I started my freelance business under the name of iDolReflection.

Primary reason of me not working under my own name (SoHail, Hi!) is that almost none of my works are results of one man job, I always work in teams, over time I'm connected to super nice and incredibly talented people to work on iDR projects. From web to print to deliver complete result you have to use various skills in Print Supervision, Photography, SEO, Painting, PR, Programming, Developing, Architecture, Copy Writing and of course Graphic Design. It's humanly impossible to do everything on your own and of course I don't.

A good example of successful teamwork in iDolReflection is ProCEED project, I am a designer, people in the main circle of iDolReflection are designers, but we've pulled off creating a very solid web application which people are using every day. Its because we know what we want, We design it and to execute our design we work with tremendous talents of programmers and web developers we know. It's almost the case in every project that pasts identity design, when you get into real design and execution I work with the best.

I have some people, mostly freelancers, available to work on shared projects, some of them became my long time friends. The phrase "We" that I use regularly in this website refers to the team for each specific project, and the phrase "I" is me :)

I have a clear vision of progressive design, something that can open the path for client not to make barriers or to make things difficult. Easy, Honest and Efficient Design works. I am not a big fan of minimalism but I am not friendly with chaotic situations either. I pay attention to details and people I choose for each project have specifically the same viewpoint on each corner, Everything should be refined to the last detail. I am not afraid of throwing away bad ideas, it may take us to work twice as predicted to find the perfect idea, we love to do that, the feeling of finding that perfect idea and seeing it in print is exhilarating.

Working with iDolReflection is easy, I spend a lot of time communicating with clients to understand their vision and expectations and to help them emphasize it into possibilities and standards. Honestly becoming one of our clients is kind of a rough path, after we sign an account with client I dedicate the whole team to them and we set up specific tools to help us communicate better. This is no joke, I know about the gravity of our responsibilities and that's why I pick on everything before we sign anything.

I will be honest with you about what you will get form us, If for any reason I don't find us suitable for your job we forfeit it, but if we go for it we rock it 150% sure. Basically it is about the taste, there are lots of designers out there working on same projects everyday, I know what we're capable of and I'll introduce our taste into each project.
